Aquaplus hiring 3D designers for new Utawarerumono and ToHeart projects

Aquaplus is recruiting 3D CG designers to work on new projects in the Utawarerumono and ToHeart series, according to a new job recruitment ad posted on CG World. 

“We’re mass recruiting comrades able to work with us on new projects in Aquaplus representative series including Utawarereumono and ToHeart,” the recruitment ad reads. “Why not try your hands at creating 3D models of the character designs by our company’s illustrators? Why not try to move and breathe life into cute characters?”

The following three positions are available:

• 3D CG designer (character modeling)
• 3D CG designer (character motion)
• Graphics programmer

Each job consists of using Maya and SoftImage for character modeling, SoftImage for character motion, and the research and development of shaders, post effects, and the like in order to achieve a cel-shaded expression.

Last week, Aquaplus announced a remake of the original Utawarerumono, as well as an new action and story-focused Utawarerumono games.
