New Gem out to turn the Prism back into a powerful weapon.

Steven Universe: Save the Light

Cartoon Network has released a new trailer for Steven Universe: Save the Light revealing a new character named Hessonite.

Hessonite, who was developed and written in collaboration with Steven Universe creator Rebecca Sugar, is an original and mysterious Homeworld Gem new to the lore, appearing for the first time in the upcoming game. Described as a “pompous Homeworld commander,” Hessonite directs the Squaridot and has come to Earth to turn the Prism back into a powerful weapon after taking it from Steven. She is voiced by Christine Baranski.

Steven Universe: Save the Light will launch for PlayStation 4 on October 31 in the Americas, and Xbox One worldwide on November 3. A release date for PlayStation 4 outside the Americas will be announced shortly.
