Summer Lesson: Chisato Shinjo

Bandai Namco has opened Japanese pre-orders and released the first screenshots for Summer Lesson: Chisato Shinjo – Chichiyou no Etude, its newly announced third entry in the PlayStation VR-exclusive Summer Lesson series, due out via the PlayStation Store on October 12 in Japan.

The Summer Lesson games are “virtual reality character communication experiences” where the player interacts with the title character as their tutor. Following high school student Hikari Miyamoto in the first Summer Lesson, and musician Allison Snow in the second, the third game features Chisato Shinjo, the daughter of a distinguished family.

The player will take on the role of the mysterious Chisato’s tutor, and while going back and forth to the old-style mansion where she resides, teach Chisato various things about modern society, from how to use a PC to how to enjoy manga and games. However, the stubborn Chisato will entangle the player with her overt selfishness, saying things like, “Because I hired you.”

Chisato, who is described as someone who loves to see her teacher panic, is a somewhat different type of student from Hikari Miyamoto and Allison Snow. While tending to her selfishness, players will get a taste of “more surprising experiences and mysterious feelings than ever before.”
