Life is Strange: Before the Storm

Square Enix has released the launch trailer for Life is Strange: Before the Storm.

The adventure game is set in Arcadia Bay, three years before the events of the original Life is Strange. Players will take on the role of a rebellious 16 year-old Chloe Price, who forms an unlikely friendship with Rachel Amber, a “beautiful and popular girl destined for success.” When Rachel’s world is “turned upside down by a family secret,” their newfound friendship gives each other the strength to overcome it.

The first of three episodes of Life is Strange: Before the Storm, titled “Awake,” will launch next Tuesday, August 31 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. If you’re at Gamescom 2017 in Cologne, Germany this week, it will be playable for the first time on the show floor.
