Bandai Namco partners with Dontnod Entertainment for new narrative adventure game [Update]

Further details due out in 2018.

Bandai Namco x Dontnod Entertainment

Bandai Namco has announced that it has partnered with Life is Strange developer Dontnod Entertainment for the development of a “new narrative adventure experience.”

The game, which has been in production since 2016, is set in a fictional city in the United States (concept artwork above) and includes a “fair dose of investigation.” The story is still being finalized, but its development will not affect the work of the company’s other major titles, Life is Strange 2 and Vampyr, as it is being developed by a separate team of senior staff “from various horizons.”

Further details about the game, including platforms, release date, and whether it will be a physical or digital release, will be announced in 2018.

Thanks, MCV.
