Media Create Sales: 7/17/17 – 7/23/17

Splatoon 2 and Switch dominate the charts.

Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[st], Splatoon 2, Layton's Mystery Journey: Katrielle and the Millionaires' Conspiracy, Sumikko Gurashi: Koko, Doko Nan Desu?

Splatoon 2 sold 648,085 copies during its first week of sales, making it both the biggest debut for a Switch title and highest selling Switch title to date, the latest Media Create sales figures reveal.

The 3DS version of Layton’s Mystery Journey: Katrielle and The Millionaires’ Conspiracy opened at 70,867 sales. It is also available for iOS and Android devices.

Also new this week, Sumikko Gurashi: Koko, Doko Nan Desu? for 3DS opened at 20,883 sales and Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[st] for PlayStation 4 opened at 5,013 sales.

Switch hardware sales saw a significant boost this week, thanks to the release of Splatoon 2. Where it sold a total of 31,906 units last week, it sold a total of 98,999 units this week.
