Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Asia will release the “Glacier White” PlayStation 4 as a standard model in Japan on July 29, the company announced. The model was previously released in limited quantities in Japan in February.
The unit will be available in 500 gigabyte and one terabyte options for 29,980 yen and 34,980 yen, respectively. It will be sold along the “Jet Black” PlayStation 4 model currently being sold.
Sony used the announcement to highlight a number of big PlayStation 4 titles launching in Japan over the next few months, including Gundam Versus on July 6, Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age on July 13, Dragon Quest XI on July 29, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy on August 3, Everybody’s Golf on August 31, and Knack 2 in 2017.
