Dino Frontier will launch for PlayStation VR via the PlayStation Store on August 1 for $29.99, the developer announced.
The game, first announced at PlayStation Experience 2016, lets players build and manage a frontier settlement “in a world where the Wild West and Jurassic collide.” Players take on the role of “Big Mayor,” who overlooks their settlement in tabletop-scale virtual reality while directing settlers to harvest food, chop lumber, train dinosaurs, and more. Rather than horses, players will train settlers to capture dinosaurs such as velociraptors, ankylosauri, Tyrannosaurus rex, and more. The game promises innovative camera controls to zoom in, zoom out, pan, and rotate with ease.
