V! No Heroes Allowed! R launches this fall in Japan [Update]

V! No Heroes Allowed! R, the Tokyo Game Show 2016-announced PlayStation VR title from Sony Interactive Entertainment JAPAN Studio, will launch in Japan this fall, the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu reveals.

Overlord Badman’s daughter Badmella from What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord? 2 will appear in the game. Overlord Badman is voiced by Tomokazu Seki, and Badmella is voiced by Ami Koshimizu.

V! No Heroes Allowed R! is a PlayStation VR-required title. The graphics have evolved from pixelated to full 3D, but systems themed around the food cycle and homage elements remain.

Special actions known as “God of Destruction Skills” can hinder the hero’s progress. By collecting “Dragon Orbs,” you can unlock various God of Destruction Skills.

God of Destruction Skills include:

• Demon March – Monsters march at the position that you designate with the pointer. By gathering monsters together, you can attack villages and castles in one go. This is indispensable for clearing the stage.
• Demon Thunder – Drops thunder down on the hero to deal direct damage. It will rarely deal a great amount of damage, but it can paralyze the hero.
• Demon Children Meat – Meat drops in at full speed for both monsters and the hero. If the monsters eat the meat, they’ll receive a breeding acceleration effect, and if the hero eats it, he can receive a status ailment.

Since monsters and the hero each act independently, the player cannot directly control them. However, by sucking up monsters directly into the “God Controller” (your DualShock 4), you can release them anywhere in the dominion of the Underworld. If you shake the God Controller while monsters are inside, you can create a Magic Circle. From that, powerful monsters such as Demons. The type of Magic Circle will change depending on the total fighting strength of the sucked up monsters. In order to create a powerful Magic Circle, you’ll need to choose the best monsters to suck up and shake.
