■ A Musical Performance Game
Enjoy the Taiko Drum Master you know from the arcades in the comfort of your own home!
—The song selection screen is all new on PlayStation 4.
—Select from difficulty options including “Simple,” “Normal,” “Hard,” and “Demonic.” There are some songs with “inner note charts” that offer an even further degree of difficulty.
—Maintain an skillfull a performance and the background scenery will gradually become more extravagent.
—If you perform well and amass your Soul Gauge to 100 percent, your tension will increase to the maximum amount and an even more extravagent production can be seen.
Mission Bingo
There is a “Mission Bingo” set for each song. By achieving bingos, you’ll receive a koban useful for item treasure chests.
Performances can be played with up to two players at the same time. Play together with your family, siblings, and friends!
The lineup consists of staple songs that family and friends can enjoy beyond generations, as well as new hits.

A series first! Easily play with the performance data of your friends and family! IF you register your friends and family members’ Sony Entertainment Network accounts as friends, even if they’re not there you can have a session performance wtih their performance data.
*A Sony Entertainment Network account is required to use the Friend Session feature.
*PlayStation Plus is not required.
*An Internet connection is required.—Friend players will appear on the song selection screen! Perform with a friend using their performance data.
—Enjoy a musical performance with your friend.
—If you successfully clear a session’s quota, you can get a Don Koban that can be used for item treasure chests.
—If you set a greeting, it will be displayed to your opponent at the beginning and end of a performance. On this screen, you can see both the greeting and your customized Don-chan. Since you can get item treasure boxes using the Don Koban you collect by playing performances, you will be able choose from more types of customizations the more you play the game.
■ Guest Session Perforamnce
“Guest Session Performance” is one of the new elements in Taiko Drum Master: Session de Dodon ga Don!. During a Guest Session Performance, you can enjoy a performance together with a popular character. This time, we’ll look at a Guest Session Performance with the popular character Doraemon.
—Music Selection: Play a perfromance of “Yume wo Kanaete Doraemon” together with Dorremon in a Guest Session.
—Loading Screen: Doraemon will assist you at the start of the performance, as well as during. Since this is Taiko Drum Master, you can hear newly recorded lines from Doraemon as well.
—During the Performance: During the performance, there will be scenes where Doraemon and friends fly about the sky with their Takekoputas.
—After the Performance: On the results screen, Doraemon will perform various actions based on the player’s results. He also has different variations of lines, so be sure to perform with him time and time again. Clear your quota to receive Don Kobans.
■ Item Treasure Chests
Keep playing to gradually receive rewards. As you play performances, and successfully clear various challenges, you’ll receive Don Kobans. You can use Don Kobans at the gacha to receive various prizes, including outfits and chibi characters, titles, and greetings.
■ Customization Room
You can use the outfits and titles you gather to freely customize a Don-chan all your own. Your Don-chan will also be fully represented when a friend or family member uses your performance data in a Friend Session Performance.
Head parts, body parts, and makeup parts included, there are over 200 types of outfit parts. There are also over 60 color options for the face, body, and hands and feet.
■ Taiko-Style Controller
A bundle including a copy of the game and “Drum and Drumsticks for PlayStation 4” controller will be released, in addition to standalone physical and digital versions of the game. The “Drum and Drumsticks for PlayStation 4” controller is wired via USB cable.
Taiko Drum Master: Session de Dodon ga Don! is due out for PlayStation 4 in Japan in 2017.
