German retailer Spielegrotte lists God of War PS4 collector’s edition

Release date announcement coming soon?

God of War PS4

German retailer Spielegrotte has listed a collector’s edition of the upcoming God of War game for PlayStation 4.

According to the retailer, the collector’s edition will include the following:

  • A copy of the game
  • Nine-inch statue of Kratos and Atreus battling two Helwalkers
  • Two carved sons toy figurines
  • SteelBook case
  • Exclusive lithograph print
  • Cloth game world map
  • Digital soundtrack
  • Exclusive dynamic theme
  • Shield pack containing three in-game shields

Spielegrotte lists God of War for a January 15, 2018 release, but that date is likely a placeholder. However, if the contents of the collector’s edition are accurate, it is possible that the game’s release date will be announced soon.

We double-checked with the Spielegrotte’s other upcoming games listings to see if there were any additional oddities that would debunk the legitimacy of the God of War listing, but found nothing other than a listing for SG/ZH School Girl/Zombie Hunter, which has been previously rumored as coming west. It is also worth noting that Spielegrotte leaked the Bloodborne Nightmare Edition before it was announced.
