Dragon Quest X for Switch launches this fall in Japan

Dragon Quest X

The Switch version of Dragon Quest X, the massively multiplayer online Dragon Quest, will launch in Japan this fall, Square Enix announced.

Users who own the Wii version of the game, which will end service with the Version 3 update of the game, will get a free upgrade to the Switch version.

The PlayStation 4 version of Dragon Quest X was previously announced for a summer release in Japan.

Dragon Quest X is currently available for Wii, Wii U, and PC, as well as 3DS and smartphones via cloud streaming.
