Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana

Falcom will release a demo of the PlayStation 4 version of Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana on the PlayStation Store in Japan on March 24, the company announced.

The demo will allow users to play part of the “Elevated Coral Forest” dungeon, which appears at the beginning of the game. You’ll also be able to play the new “Inferno” difficulty added to the PlayStation 4 version, as well as experience its higher resolution and 60 frames per second. Save data from the demo cannot be carried over to the full version.

Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana is due out for PlayStation 4 in Japan on May 25, and for PlayStation 4, PS Vita, and PC in North America and Europe this fall. The PS Vita version is already available in Japan.
