Yo-kai Watch: Gerapo Rhythm delayed to general 2017 in Japan

Level-5 has delayed Yo-kai Watch: Gerapo Rhythm, its Yo-kai Watch rhythm game for iOS and Android, from its previously planned March 2017 release in Japan to a general 2017 release window.

The company cited quality improvements for the delay, and offered its heartfelt apologies to everyone expecting the game in March.

In Yo-kai Watch: Gerapo Rhythm, players will form their own band from their favorite yo-kai. The game tasks players with tapping the written music that appears on-screen to the rhythm. The goal is to make as little mistakes as possible while building up combos. An “Appeal Time” can occur mid-stage, in which the yo-kai show off their special moves. The game promises a number of familiar Yo-kai Watch songs.
