Media Create Sales: 1/23/17 – 1/29/17

Resident Evil 7 biohazard sold 187,306 copies during its first week of release in Japan, the latest Media Create sales figures reveal. All sales were from the PlayStation 4 version and include the CERO Z-rated “Grotesque Version.”

Also new last week, Broccoli‘s Uta no Prince-sama Repeat Love for PS Vita opened at 29,008 sales, and Bandai Namco‘s Twin Star Exorcists for PS Vita debuted at 4,681 sales. 5pb.‘s New Game! The Challenge Stage, launched at 3,662 copies sold on PS Vita, with the PlayStation 4 version not making the top 20.

In terms of hardware, sales fell across everything except PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro, which saw slight boosts thanks to the release of Resident Evil 7.
