Famitsu has gone up with its first online preview of the newly announced PlayStation 4 version of Figureheads, Square Enix‘s free-to-play, online, tactical third-person shooter currently available for PC in Japan.
The robots controlled by players in Figureheads are composed of two types of category parts: “2Foot” and “Figureheads.” These parts are produced by various in-game companies, and feature unique differences in performance and appearance based on the company. Players can customize these parts to build a unique robot.
In addition to the player-versus-player online battle mode, the PlayStation 4 version of Figureheads offers a player-versus-enemy mode where players battle against computer-controlled characters. With defeating enemies and giant robot battles awaiting, it promises to offer content enjoyable to both new players and existing PC fans.
Figureheads will launch for PlayStation 4 in Japan on March 9.
