Bandai Namco will host a closed beta test for Gundam Versus in Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and South Korea in March, the company announced at Taipei Game Show 2017.
The beta version has been modified based on the feedback Bandai Namco received from the in-studio alpha test. It will feature several game modes, including “Player Match” and “Free Battle,” as well as both online and offline support. Players will be able to fight across countries, as well as limit match-making to their own country.
In addition to Gundam, Gundam Exia, and Gundam Kyrios, who were playable in the alpha test, Z Gundam, ZZ Gundam, Victory 2 Gundam, GN-X (Sergei Smirnov), and Union Flag Custom (Graham Aker) will also be playable in the beta.
A release date for Gundam Versus has yet to be announced. In addition to a Japanese release, an Asian English release is also planned.
