Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for Tales of Berseria dubbed “The Calamity and the Blade.”

The trailer follows Velvet Crowe, the game’s protagonist, as she exacts her unforgiving revenge upon the people who have wronged her. The game promises an “emotional story” of “revenge, masterclass classic gameplay… and a beauitufly realized world.”

Tales of Berseria will launch for PlayStation 4 and PC in North America on January 24 and in Europe on January 27. A demo is due out on January 10. Tales of Berseria launched for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 in Japan on August 18.

PlayStation 4 digital pre-orders will include a Ufotable-illustrated PlayStation 4 theme, 15-minute exclusive dramatic chat skit hosted by Bienfu with Velvet and the cast discussing a variety of topics, and a mini music selection from the game. Steam pre-orders will include a $10 loyalty discount if you have purchased Tales of Zestiria or Tales of Symphonia through Steam.
