Media Create Sales: 11/28/16 – 12/4/16

Final Fantasy XV sold a total of 694,262 units during its first week of sale in Japan, with 690,471 of those sales coming from the PlayStation 4 version, the latest Media Create sales figures reveal.

The launch of the highly anticipated action RPG boosted PlayStation 4 hardware sales from 42,102 units last week to 118,350 units this week.

Also new this week, Nintendo‘s Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS opened at 223,051 sales, Ubisoft‘s Watch Dogs 2 opened at 39,965 sales on PlayStation 4, and Bandai Namco‘s 3DS games Digimon Universe: Appli Monsters and All Kamen Rider: Rider Revolution opened at 7,255 and 23,308 units sold, respectively.
