Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 screenshots introduce 0.2 systems and new Dream Drop Distance features

Square Enix has updated the Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8: Final Chapter Prologueofficial Japanese website with new screenshots and details on the systems of Kingdom Hearts 0.2: Birth by Sleep – A Fragmentary Passage and new features of Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance.

■ System: Kingdom Hearts 0.2: Birth by Sleep – A Fragmentary Passage
Situation Command
When the gauge that appears as you attack enemies accumulates entirely, a “Situation Command” will be triggered. Depending on the magic and attacks used while accumulating the gauge, the triggered Situation Command will change.
Team Up with King Mickey
Team up with King Mickey, who you meet in the World of Darkness, when you’re in a pinch. You can also use the “Wayfinder” collaboration technique with the King.
Decoration
Customize the equipment worn by Aqua. In addition to head, back, and shoulder decoration items, you can also change her costume pattern and color. You can collect decoration items by completing “challenges.”

New Spirits
In the world submerged in sleep, there exists dream-eating monsters known as “Dream Eaters.” Among them are good spirits that help Sora and Riku on their adventure. New Dream Eaters have been added to the HD remaster version, including Pondanyan, Biitoppoi, and Yuagari Penguin.
All Spirits Can Be Combined

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8: Final Chapter Prologue will launch for PlayStation 4 on January 12 in Japan, and January 24 in North America and Europe. It includes the all-new, Aqua-focused Kingdom Hearts 0.2: Birth by Sleep – A Fragmentary Passage in addition to a high-definition remaster of Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance and the Kingdom Hearts χ [chi]: Back Cover movie.
