Cave announces VR title A.I am Monster

Become a giant schoolgirl and wreak havoc on Tokyo.

A.I am Monster

DoDonPachi and Mushihimesama
developer Cave has announced A.I am Monster (tentative title), its first virtual reality title due out for release in Japan in 2017. A platform was not announced.

The title, themed after Cave’s trademark “destruction and exhilaration,” puts players in the role of a giant schoolgirl on a rampage in Tokyo, mowing down buildings and obstacles with giant arms. Your score is calculated by the “economic loss” suffered as a result of your destruction.

Cave released a trailer alongside the announcement. As you’ll see in the video, the game is currently in a playable state. From here, Cave plans to brush up the title leading up to its 2017 release.
