Square Enix has released a 25-second gameplay video of NieR: Automata‘s Final Fantasy XV collaboration, which sees YoRHa No.2 Type B able to wield Noctis’ “Engine Blade” weapon.
As previously detailed, the Engine Blade has its own exclusive evasion effect. The weapon model is a direct import from Final Fantasy XV, and the way the effects and damage amount display are the same.
NieR: Automata will launch for PlayStation 4 in Japan on February 23, and for PlayStation 4 and PC in North America and Europe in early 2017.
