Bandai Namco has announced Osomatsu-san: Matsumatsuri, a 3DS game based on the popular TV anime. It will launch physically and digitally in Japan on December 22 for 4,800 yen. The digital version will be discounted to 4,320 yen until January 17.
A limited edition including six tin badges on a cardboard stand will also be available for 6,800 yen, and an Animate-exclusive New 3DS hardware bundle including the limited edition and a New 3DS with an Osomatsu-san cover plate will be available for 24,800 yen.
Osomatsu-san: Matsumatsuri is a “variety game.” You’ll play mini-games, raise your favorability level with your favorite -Matsu brother, and gather illustrations, voice-overs, and popular anime scenes. There are a total of 100 anime scenes to collect. From the Osomatsu household, you’ll select your favorite -Matsu and start playing mini-games. Based on your results, your favorability with your chosen character will rise, and you’ll collect illustrations, voice-overs, and more. The backgrounds and illustrations you collect can be combined with the voice-overs to make your own original chosen -Matsu card to share via StreetPass. You’ll also be able to enjoy other useful features, such as a clock, calculator, and timer in an Osomatsu-san-style design.
