Japanese developer Mutan announces Sky Ride for PS4
3D shooting action game due out on September 8 in Japan.
Japanese developer Mutan, whose previous works include development on Atelier Rorona Plus for 3DS and western localization development on various other Atelier games, has announced Sky Ride, a 3D action shooting game due out for PlayStation 4 via the PlayStation Store in Japan on September 8 for 1,404 yen.
In Sky Ride, players control a flying bike called the “Air Lob,” with which they must defeat large groups of enemy drones. The Air Lob can fly in all directions and is equipped with five weapons: the continuous-firing “Machine Gun,” enemy-following “Missiles,” area-destroying “Grenades,” straight line-firing “Laser,” and the enemy-mowing “Beam.” The objective is to destroy as many enemies as possible before your life is reduced to zero to obtain a high score. Your score is recorded in an online ranking, where you can compare yourself against your own previous high scores, global high scores, and your friends’ high scores.
