Velocity developer working on PlayStation VR title

Reveal "probably" coming at the end of the year.

Velocity 2X

The next game from Velocity developer FuturLab is a PlayStation VR title, the studio announced.

“We were approached by Sony last year to come up with a distinctly FuturLab concept for their shiny new hardware peripheral,” FuturLab said in a blog post. “No, it’s not a hardware peripheral, it’s a portal into a completely new medium.”

All the developer can say about the game right now is that it’s “very pretty,” “very cool,” and that “nobody has felt any kind of motion sickness whilst playing.”

FuturLab says it will “probably” reveal the game at the end of the year, but that it “reserves the right to keep schtum until it’s ready to show.”
