Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse ‘Demons’ trailer, DLC schedule announced

Fight, fuse, or recruit demons.

Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse

Atlus has released a new trailer for Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse introducing the game’s demons.

Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse features over 450 demons from various mythologies to fight, fuse, or recruit. When encountering demons, such as Napaea or Centaur, players can fight, negotiate, or flee. Negotiating with a demon opens up a dialogue tree that gives players the opportunity to recruit them or receive items or bonuses. Successfully recruited demons can be summoned to fight alongside the protagonist, but if you fail the negotiation, a fight will ensue.

Once a demon has been added to the party, they’ll gain experience, new abilities, and stronger attributes with each new victory in battle. The protagonists can also learn new skills from demons that level up, and using the “Cathedral of Shadows,” demons can also be fused together to create even stronger demons.

In addition to the trailer, Atlus also shared the game’s schedule of post-launch downloadable content, which ranges from items to new quests. Here are the details:
