Media Create Sales: 7/4/16 – 7/10/16

Culdcept Revolt debuts at 29,321 sales.

Culdcept Revolt, the first completely new entry in Nintendo’s strategy RPG series in 12 years for 3DS, sold 29,321 units during its first week of release in Japan and was the highest selling new release, the latest Media Create sales figures reveal.

Also new this week, Nippon Ichi Software’s horror visual novel Shin Hayarigami 2 launched for PlayStation 4, PS Vita, and PlayStation 3. It sold 5,351 units on PS Vita. The PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 versions did not chart in the top 20.

On the hardware side, there are no major changes, with each console outside of Wii U, which saw a nice boost, maintaining around its usual sales numbers.
