First look at Digimon Universe’s new protagonist and Digimon
Official Twitter account launched.
Toei Animation has launched the official Twitter account for Digimon Universe: Appli Monsters—its new cross-media project consisting of an anime, video game, and more—revealing the first artwork of the new series.
The Twitter banner showcases the protagonist and his new Digivice, as well as a number of new Digimon (the Digimon to his left looks similar to Gumdramon), and some “app” icons featuring more new Digimon.
The face of the Digimon Universe project, as seen in the teaser artwork and on the Twitter profile, is this still-to-be-named monster:
The Twitter description reveals that the anime will begin airing in October on TV Tokyo.
More details on Digimon Universe will be shared during the Tokyo Toy Show tomorrow, June 9.
