Bandai Namco is bringing Pac-Man 256, developed by Hipster Whale and 3 Sprockets, to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam digitally on June 21, the publisher announced. It will cost $4.99 / €4,99.
Pac-Man 256 allows users to play the mobile game on console with new features, including a social sharing option and 10 themes unlocked, as well as a local co-op multiplayer mode with up to four players. Players will have to work together to eat all the Pac-Dots and Power Pellets to overcome ghosts Blinky, Pinky, Inky, and Cylde.
“We wanted everyone to enjoy Pac-Man 256, so it was a logical decision to make it available on PS4, Xbox One and PC,” said Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe S.A.S. project owner Benjamin Prenom. “The brand new local multiplayer mode, exclusive to the console and PC version, makes it even more accessible: get ready for maximum fun playing up to 4 players at the same time!”
