New Call of Duty to be announced on May 2

Infinity Ward promises "bold, new vision for Call of Duty."

Infinity Ward will host a special video stream tomorrow, May 2, at 10:30 a.m. PT / 1:30 p.m. ET on Twitch during which the development team will discuss their “bold, new vision for Call of Duty,” the studio announced.

Purported leaks over the past week have suggested the next Call of Duty is called Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and will ship with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered. Teasers for the new game have also been found within Call of Duty: Black Ops III‘s “Nuketown 2065” multiplayer map and other sources.

As for today, Activision released a “Call of Duty Heritage” video where the developers from Infinity Ward discuss what the franchise means to them and what is inspiring them in creating its next iteration.
