Nintendo has begun taking pre-orders for its Super Famicom Edition New 3DS XL and Fire Emblem Fates Edition New 3DS XL in Japan. Pre-orders for both special editions will be accepted until April 27 at 11:59 a.m. JST.

The Super Famicom Edition New 3DS XL costs 21,600 yen (plus an additional 514 yen for shipping). It includes the Super Famicom Edition New 3DS XL hardware, theme download code, a stylus, a 4GB micro SDHC memory card, AR cards, easy start guide, user manual, and warranty certificate.

Fire Emblem Fates Edition New 3DS XL

The Fire Emblem Fates Edition New 3DS XL costs 20,304 yen (plus an additional 514 yen for shipping). It includes the Fire Emblem Fates Edition New 3DS XL hardware, TCG Fire Emblem 0 exclusive cards, a stylus, a 4GB micro SDHC memory card, AR cards, easy start guide, user manual, and warranty certificate.

Nintendo will begin shipping orders for both units in late July.
