White Day remake now available for smartphones
Trapped in Yeondu High School after hours...ROI Games’ 3D remake of the romantic horror adventure game White Day: A Labyrinth Named School is now available in English on the iOS App Store for $3.99 and Android Google Play marketplace for $3.49.
The original game launched for PC in 2001, and gained popularity in South Korea, as well as a cult following in western countries. It centers around a high school swirling with legends and mysteries, and follows the story of Hui-min and his classmates who find them locked in the school late at night.
Here’s a list of features, via ROI Games:
- Experience a whole new level of fear by being trapped in a school after hours! While school is a familiar setting for everyone, White Day‘s Yeondu High School is full of possessed janitors, ghosts with mysterious pasts, and all sorts of dangers and horrors.
- Run for your life! There are no overly gory scenes in White Day. There are no weapons like knives or guns to use. The player is just a normal student who must run away from the dangers that lurk in the school in order to survive.
- A rich storyline with many possible endings! White Day follows the main character and his fellow female students who are trapped in a “Labyrinth Named School,” while they struggle to survive. Their stories playout in elaborate and fascinating ways; providing a storyline that is on par with console games in length.
- Multiple endings! Also, the player’s choices and actions determine the outcome of the game, with a total of seven possible endings.
A PlayStation VR-compatible version of the game is also in development for PlayStation 4.
