New details from the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu.

Toukiden 2

The latest issue of Weekly Famitsu introduces new characters, a new weapon, and new oni set to appear in Toukiden 2.

Get the information below.

  • Benizuki – A great woman burdened by crime. A woman who wields a naginata and is famous for being the strongest in Mahoroba Village. She is one of the Itsukusa heroes who fought in the calamity that destroyed the world. She is loved by everyone with her gentle personality. She shows a much darker expression after a certain incident.
  • Homura – A first-class fighting wanderer. A wandering Slayer who traveled around as a thief. His weapon is a swordwhip. He is defeated by Benizuki in Mahoroba Village, and reluctantly begins accompanying her.

A bladed whip with a kunai attached to the tip. In addition to multi-stage attacks, the flying kunai makes it possible to pierce the enemy in all places. There is also a technique that lets you disorderly fire the whip forward. Its wide attack range is big enough that it can hit large oni in all parts.

A large, big-winged oni covered in red scales.

Toukiden 2 is due out for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PS Vita in Japan in 2016.
