No Man’s Sky will launch for PlayStation 4 and PC on June 21 (June 22 in Europe), developer Hello Games announced.
The final price is $59.99. Pre-orders are live on the PlayStation Store and other retailers such as Amazon for PlayStation 4, and Steam, GOG, and the Humble Store for PC.
The PlayStation 4 version will ship both physically and digitally. It will also be available in a limited edition including a SteelBook case, 48-page art book, comic, downloadable content starter kit, and dynamic PlayStation 4 theme.
The PC version will ship digitally. A 10,000 unit-limit “Explorer’s Edition,” including a digital copy of the game, Cast Metal Ship Replica, and other goodies, is available for pre-order at iam8bit (UK visitors click here).
The open-universe sci-fi game lets players trade, fight, explore, and survive in a boundless, computer-generated universe.
A number of new previews went live today, where press got to see new features like how to survive on hazardous planets and how to learn alien languages, as well as some of the alien races you’ll be able to communicate with.
