Rebellion Developments has lifted the lid on the campaign for its upcoming first-for-PlayStation VR, later-for-PC title Battlezone.
Battlezone promises a “sizable single-player campaign” which features a campaign map where you pick missions structured across a series of interlocking “hexes” that need to be completed to progress to the finale. Players will forge a path of their own choosing. Restarting the campaign at any time will procedurally re-generate a new hex, and “dozens” of environments, level,s and mission types are blended together in a different combination. Each playthrough unlocks more of the complete arsenal.
A new trailer released today shows off the game’s night-time area, glowing industrial environments, windswept ice wastes, and an updated version of the “neon” level first showcased when the game was announced 10 months ago.
