The Chinese Room to announce new game “in the next couple of weeks”

New game not tied to a publisher, independently owned.

Everybody's Gone to the Rapture

Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture developer The Chinese Room will announce its next game “in the next couple of weeks,” the studio said on Twitter.

The studio notes the game is not signed to a publisher, like Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture is to Sony, and since it owns the IP, can be “pretty open about development.” The staff wants to know what kind of stuff you want to know about how they make their games.

The Chinese Room’s latest release is Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture, which is available for PlayStation 4. While not yet confirmed, it has been rumored for a PC release via Steam.
