Super Robot Wars OG: The Moon Dwellers teaser trailer, series sales top 16 million

2016 marks the series' 25th anniversary.

Bandai Namco has released the debut teaser trailer and launched the official website for its newly announced, 2016-due Super Robot Wars OG: The Moon Dwellers for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3.

The company also announced that total sales for the Super Robot Wars series have reached 16 million.

Super Robot Wars OG: The Moon Dwellers is the series’ first for PlayStation 4, and promises battle scenes and animations expressed through beautiful graphics, and the series’ highest sense of immersion. Players can put together teams of two robots and enjoy highly strategic battles. It also offers a “Beginner Mode” option with a “Guidance Scenario” system that makes it easier for new players of the series to enjoy.

2016 marks the Super Robot Wars series’ 25th anniversary. Since its first release for Game Boy on April 20, 1991, 90 Super Robot Wars titles, including “Best” versions, have been released. In addition to Super Robot Wars OG: The Moon Dwellers, Bandai Namco said it is planning a variety of projects to celebrate the series’ anniversary.
