Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom teaser trailer

French-made action RPG due out next year.

Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom

Focus Home Interactive has released a new teaser trailer for Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom, its upcoming action RPG from French studio Enigami.

The trailer brings viewers through a hostile world, where the lands of Mahera have become fragmented, and our heroes travel from the flying city of Mantara, to the Adorn plain and the Gromiz caverns.

Shiness features a “vast world” that you can interact with thanks to the skills of your five playable characters. Such interactions include destroying a giant rock blocking your path, or using kinect powers to activate mechanisms that unlock a secret door.

Battles promise “hyper-dynamic combat,” in which players can mix combos with magic, parries, and blocks. You’ll gain experience points by fighting, completing quests, and progressing through the story to learn new skills and spells.

Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Windows, Mac, and Linux in 2016.
