The Game Awards 2015

The Game Awards 2015 begin shortly. A 30-minute pre-show will begin at 5:30 p.m. PT / 8:30 p.m. ET and feature the reveal of new Rise of the Tomb Raider downloadable content. The main event will follow at 6:00 p.m. PT / 9:00 p.m. ET.

10 world premieres, 10 on-stage awards, and live performances are planned for the two-hour awards show. This year’s nominees can be found here.

Confirmed world premieres include:

  • Far Cry Primal – first gameplay
  • Quantum Break – new gameplay and live-action footage
  • Mortal Kombat X – new character reveals (already leaked)
  • Oculus Rift announcement from Palmer Luckey
  • Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn – surprise (via)
  • The Walking Dead: Michonne – reveal
  • Rocket League – surprise (Xbox One version?)
  • Halo-related news (via)
  • New game reveals
