The LinkedIn profile of Richard VanDeventer, a game director working in Osaka, has listed work on a “Kingdom Hearts 2.9” for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 under Square Enix.

Before Square Enix, VanDeventer was a game director at Comcept, where he worked on Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z. He also has previous credits at Capcom, where he worked on Resident Evil 6, and Game Republic, where he worked on Knight’s Contract.

It’s worth noting that this LinkedIn profile only has two connections. However, this is the only LinkedIn profile for his name, and he is a real person (visit his online portfolio here). Even so, take everything with a grain of salt until officially announced.
