Microsoft has released the “Mad World” launch trailer for Gears of War: Ultimate Edition.
The trailer is the original Gears of War “Mad World” official launch trailer re-imagined with new in-game footage.
“The original ‘Mad World’ trailer kicked off the franchise with what is one of the most iconic and recognized trailers in the gaming,” Microsoft said in a blog post. “Paying tribute to the original, the video opens with CG footage from the first Gears and then transitions into in-game footage from Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, which has been completely remastered in 1080p and modernized with 60fps multiplayer.”
Gears of War: Ultimate Edition is due out for Xbox One on August 25. A PC version is also planned.
