Earlier this month, Keiji Inafune’s Red Ash: The Indelible Legend Kickstarter camapign announced a stretch goal for a single console port. After polling users, Comcept has announced that console will be PlayStation 4.
Out of a total 2,628 votes, 1,749 backers wanted the game on PlayStation 4, 655 on Wii U, and 224 on Xbox One.
“We have been checking the results on a daily basis and this was the overall trend since the poll opened,” Comcept said in a blog post.
“As promised, we took the in-progress results of this poll to our 1st party contacts and were able to make headway in our negotiations with the various parties. As a result, we were able to officially confirm the development of Red Ash for the PlayStation 4.”
The PlayStation 4 version, however, is still but a stretch goal. Red Ash needs $800,000 for its base funding and PC version, and $1 million for the PlayStation 4 version. With 10 days to go until the Kickstarter closes, it’s currently funded $455,000.
