Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir announced for PS4, PS3, and PS Vita

HD remake en route to PlayStation consoles.

Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir

Atlus and VanillaWare have announced Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PS Vita. It’s due out in Japan on January 14, 2016 for 7,980 yen. First-print copies include an art book.

Leifthrasir is described as “very different” from an HD remaster of the original Odin Sphere, which launched for PlayStation 2 in 2007, but rather a re-created version of the game featuring fully evolved gameplay systems. Judging by one of the main menu options, there also appears to be a “Classic Mode.”
