Until Dawn release date announced

PlayStation 4 interactive horror set for late August release.

Until Dawn

Until Dawn will launch for PlayStation 4 in North America on August 25, in PAL territories on August 26, and in the U.K. and Ireland on August 28, Sony and Supermassive Entertainment announced.

Pre-orders for the game will include a special bonus scene featuring new couple Matt and Emily out on the mountain. “But it’s not long until they start to suspect they aren’t alone,” Sony teases.

In Europe, the game will launch in three editions: standard, extended, and SteelBook. Check your local retailers for availability.

Sony also announced that Peter Stormare, of Arrow and The Big Lebowski fame, will join the Until Dawn cast.

The interactive horror game will have players determine the fate of eight friends who spend the night in a log cabin on the anniversary of the death of one of their friends, only to realize they are being hunted by a serial killer.
