Warner Bros. and NetherRealm Studios have announced the Mortal Kombat X equivalent of a season pass. The ‘Kombat Pack’ will include access to four playable characters still in development, as well as costume content.
The four characters include:
- Jason Voorhees – the horror icon from the Friday the 13th films
- Two Klassic Mortal Kombat Kombatants
- Another special guest character
Fans who purchase the Kombat Pack will also receive the ‘Samurai Pack’ containing three new character skins—Ronin Kenshi, Samurai Shinnok and Jingu Kitana—as well as an accompanying skin pack with each playable character.
Kombat Pack owners will also gain early access to future downloadable content before it is available for sale individually.
The Kombat Pack will be included with all Premium, Limited, and Kollector’s Edition by Coarse versions of the game. Otherwise, it will be available separately for $29.99.
Mortal Kombat X is due out worldwide for for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC on April 14.
