Earth Defense Force 4.1 ‘Super Scout News’ trailer

PlayStation 4 upgrade due out next Thursday in Japan.

D3 Publisher has released a new nine-minute trailer for Earth Defense Force 4.1: The Shadow of New Despair.

The trailer introduces the updated sequel’s new missions and episodes, updates to half of its existing missions, the new “Depth Crawler” vehicle, 1080p resolution and graphical updates, a look at the four character classes, and more. And it’s all presented in a news-style program complete with coffee advertisements.

Earth Defense Force 4.1: The Shadow of New Despair is due out for PlayStation 4 in Japan next Thursday, April 2.
