DmC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition launched for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One today, and the launch trailer teases more of the summer-due Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition.
But before that, the newly launched DmC Devil May includes the original game, all the previously released add-on content, and a host of new features, including the ability to play as Vergil in “Vergil’s Bloody Palace Mode,” a “Turbo Mode” that increases the game’s speed by 20 percent, a “Hardcore Mode” that raises the game’s difficulty akin to previous entries, and a “Gods Must Die Mode” that offers new trials. The game has also been re-tuned and balanced based on fan feedback, including a fully configurable lock-on option and rebalancing of the style system.
As for the upcoming Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition, the launch trailer continues to tease Vergil following the first trailer’s tease.
