Media Create Sales: 12/1/14 – 12/7/14

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U debuted as the top seller in this week’s Japanese software sales. The Wii U brawler moved 227,527 units within a two-day period.

Naturally, the launch of Super Smash Bros. also pushed Wii U hardware sales. The console sold 24,000 units this week—double the 12,000 it sold last week.

3DS also ha a good week, with Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire sales remaining strong at 172,000, and with the launches of Derby Stallion Gold and Aikatsu, as well as Samurai Warriors Chronicles 3. Hardware sales this week totaled over 145,000.
