Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire debut at 1.5 million sales in Japan

Sales for Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire reached 1,534,593 units during the 3DS titles’ first three days of sale in Japan, according to Famitsu numbers.

The number makes the game the fourth best software launch for 3DS in Japan, following behind Pokemon X and Y, Monster Hunter 4, and Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate.

3DS hardware sales also saw an boost, increasing from 51,000 units last week to over 83,000 units this week.
