LittleBigPlanet 3 will be fully backwards compatible with all of your previously purchased downloadable content and collected goodies from LittleBigPlanet 2 and LittleBigPlanet, Sony announced.
That includes all of your level packs and Sackboy outfits, which can be re-downloaded via LittleBigPlanet 3‘s in-game store at no additional cost.
You’ll also be able to import your profile, meaning all the Costume Pieces, Materials, Objects, Music Tracks, and other goodies you’ve collected will follow you.
And finally, if you’ve ever published any levels in previous games, you’ll find them on your LittleBigPlanet 3 Earth, as well.
Any custom content you want to import from the previous PlayStation 3 games to LittleBigPlanet 3 on PlayStation 4 can be done so via custom levels containing the content in Prize Bubbles, which can be retrieved when playing the level on PlayStation 4.
